Our church continues to find new ways to reach out with the gospel message. This “Pastor’s Weblog” is one more way to engage our discussions in that message for a new and ever-changing age.

I anticipate this weblog taking us through many different means of conversation. Some weeks will focus on a particular sermon topic and opening up the opportunity for responses to some of the more controversial parts that the Sunday morning time slot did not allow to cover. Some weeks may open up a controversial topic such as the recent Immigration Bill SB1070 … but within a Christian, Bible-centered format. And still other weeks may open up responses for how our church members feel about new and innovative ideas within our church; are things changing too fast/slow or are we right on pace with our times?

Our own Bob Wason has designed a remarkable feature providing a means to open up several topics at once so that you can enter the “Pastor’s Weblog” and then actually choose which topic you would like to sound off on, but especially to choose the topic which you would like to read how others see a certain issue. Remember that wisdom works best by listening more and talking less (see James 1:19).

All in all, it will be interesting.

Right now we would love to hear your first impressions and especially what sort of hopes you may have. Please reply with some topics and issues you would like for us to address within the “Pastor’s Weblog” and let’s see where they may lead.

Hopeful for new ideas,

Dr. Steve
